Author Guidlines

 

  1. ASMAT Jurnal Pengamas receives papers scientific articles, and scientific case reports that have never been published in other media.
  2. The submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word, RTF, or Word Perfect document file format with 1.5 spaces, utilizing a 10-point font of Time New Roman. The maximum script length is 10 pages. The manuscript is written in appropriate Indonesian grammar. The editorial board has the right to revise the grammar without changing its substance.
  3. The citation utilizes the name of the author, year, and page, (body note) like the following example: (Fadhilah, 2017). The author should use tools like MendeleyZotero, or EndNote for constructing the references.
  4. ASMAT Jurnal Pengabmas using Turnitin for plagiarism checker. The tolerance result for the similarity of the plagiarism checker is 15-20%.

  6. The systematic in writing includes:

Title 

  • The title is written in Bahasa and informative, concise, and not too long or short (5 -14 words) with Times New Roman font, size 12 pt Bold, 1 spacing.
  • Consists of the variables under study and describes the content of the manuscript.
  • A title does not contain abbreviations or formulas.
  • The title page should include the title of the manuscript only. The names of authors should be deleted to ensure the double-blinding of the paper during the peer review process.

Abstract and Keyword 

  • The abstract is concisely written, about the most important ideas, the most problem in community health service, the problem in the village, and contains the problems about behavioral health community, or community service objectives, method, and community the results of community service.
  • Written in an Indonesian and English language with 100-150 words maximum.
  • If the article was written in Indonesian, the abstract should be written in Indonesian and English properly.
  • Abstract for each language only allowed to be written in 1 paragraph with 1 column format
  • Keywords contain main words consisting of 3-5 words

Introduction 

  • Contains a description of the analysis of the situation or condition of the objective subject of community services (community assistance)
  • the issues and focus of devotion
  • the reasons for choosing the subject of devotion
  • social change that is expected or the purpose of the community service supported by the data qualitative or quantitative, as well as supported by the literature review that is relevant.
  • Reference using the APA 6th Style
  • The article is typed using Microsoft Word with Times New Roman font size 11, line spacing 1.5, and the margin of the paper: the side of the left, right, top, and bottom respectively of 2.5 cm on A4 size paper, and given the page number on the bottom right corner

Method 
The method is written with a length of 15-20% of the length of the article and contain:

  • A description of the process of action planning with the community (community organizing).
  • In this case explained who is the subject of devotion, the place and the location of the devotion, the involvement of the subject assisting in the process of planning and community organizing, the method or research strategy that is used in achieving the expected goals, and stages of community service activities.
  • The process of planning and strategy/methods used images of flowcharts or diagrams.
  • The article is typed using Microsoft Word with Times New Roman 11, a distance of 1.5 spaced, using indentation 1 cm.

Results

Results and discussion are presented with a length of 60-70% of the article's length. The results represent a major part of scientific articles containing:

  • results of the process of community service, namely the explanation of the dynamics of the mentoring process (sports activities, forms of action of a technical nature, or course of action to solve the problems of the community).
  • explain the emergence of social change that is expected, for example, the emergence of the institution of a new, a change in behavior, the creation of a new consciousness towards social transformation, and so on
  • It can be presented with a table or graph to clarify results verbally

Discussion

  • Discussion is an important part of the entire scientific article.
  • The purposes of the discussion are a description about discussion of the results of community service of process of devotion from the start till the occurrence of social change.
  • The discussion of the results of community service is corroborated by reference and perspective of theoretical supported with a literature review that is relevant.

Conclusions 

  • Contain conclusions and recommendations.
  • Conclusions contain answers to the community service problems
  • Recommendations refer to the community service and practical form of action, specify to whom and for what recommendation intended.
  • Written in essay form, not in numerical form.
  • The conclusion created a narrative in one (1) paragraph or more, based on the objectives and the results of community service.
  • Give advice to community service as well as continued follow-up plans for the people

Acknowledgment 

  • The Acknowledgment is given to the lender

References (Daftar Pustaka)

  • Contain literature that is referenced in the content, arranged alphabetically, and written in the APA (American Psychological Association) system.
  • Fully written, appropriate with the references in the content
  • Only load literature referenced in the content
  • The source of references is 50% from literature published last 10 years.
  • References are at least 50% from research articles in journals or research reports.
  • An article should refer to the article published in the AJP journal.
  • The bibliography format is APA the 6th Style
  • Writing of references is recommended to use the application tools such as Mendeley or Zotero, Endnote
  • a minimum amount of reference as many as 17 articles

Table and Picture

Tables. Table Numbering is a sequence. For footnotes, use numbers followed by closing brackets, and type above the letters (superscript). The asterisks (*) or (**) are used to indicate the apparent level, which respectively shows a confidence level of 1 and 5%. Do not repeat the information in the text if the description has been contained on the map or image. 10pt font size for table contents. The distance between the title of the table and the previous sentence is 1 space, and the distance between table titles and tables is 1 space, as well as between tables and subsequent clusters is 1 space. Description of the middle table is placed above the table.

Pictures. Images are presented in black-and-white with size adjusted to the column size. If the image looks less clear, the size of the image can be enlarged and placed in the center of the paper, cutting the column. Between the image and the image title is 1 space. The font size for the title of the image is 10pt, the image number is bold, and the beginning of the picture is titled with uppercase. Captions can be presented with the title of the image.
